We are pleased to offer a beautiful, iconic Maine watercolor by Boothbay artist Herb Maynard (1929 – 2007) as a holiday fundraiser. It’s the perfect gift for anyone who wants to remember our beautiful coast of Maine, here or far away. Herb Maynard taught at the University of Maine and is famous for his maritime watercolors. Actor Burl Ives collected Maynard’s work. The painting, donated by a supporter, will be on display at the museum until a winner is drawn on December 15. The signed watercolor is matted and framed. The dimensions of the frame are 12 “H x 17” W.

Tickets cost $ 1 each or 6 for $ 5 and can be purchased at the museum during opening hours Or send a check to BRHS, PO Box 272, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538, with a phone number or email so that we can acknowledge receipt of your request and raffle tickets for a beautiful watercolor!
